Divine Intervention
On November 27, 1979, I was celebrating my amazing born-again experience. It was my birthday in Christ. On this morning, a woman who provided secretarial service to the several offices where I had my small office, knocked on my office door. It was the first time I had ever spoken to her. In a very cautious manor she handed me a folded piece of paper and nervously said, “This is for you” and quickly left. I closed the door to my office and opend the paper which carried a typed message. It read:
“Talents put to the test—held up for all to see. I am your talent—all is for Me and I am all. Everything must be for My glory—not just edifying but total, absolute glory. Time is a concept that plays no part in heavenly realms, and therefore, it will move as I see fit for My beloveds. Turning perfectly—fitting into My will as you seek it—all will be as I promised. You must use My Word in all you do. Don’t play with it. It is the Rock on which you stand, and all floods will only wash around it. Put all in My strong love—I will work it to absolute perfection. Use the Word—My Word. Stand on My promises. Let Me do this all in all for one of My children.”
“Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in My hand….”
Jeremiah 18:6
I wept as I read what my Father had chosen to give His child of God on his birthday in Jesus. This very first Word of Knowledge is the cornerstone of my life and my walk in Christ Jesus. But little did I know that more of the Father’s wisdom was about to come. On December 13, 1979, Linda, my secretarial service lady, gave me one more Word from the Father:
“The time has come that I am no longer a ‘still, small voice.’ The time is short, and the harvest is no lifetime away. My people must listen—I’m just on the other side of silence with so much love and wisdom. I’m speaking—always; My people don’t always listen. Don’t look at all the circumstances—I blow them away as pollen off a petal. I have taken all obstacles and made straight the path. Don’t look back! That is the way to lose sight of My Son. Take your eyes off Jesus and the world delights —look straight at the guiding Son.”
“And your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it’ when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.”
Isaiah 30:21
So now, after four decades of business development and product creation, I am led to produce this visual message for the glory of God, for the glory of Jesus and the glory of His Holy Spirit. I have illustrated God’s creativve ideas — and life’s difficulties — all of which have produced the Lord’s path to follow and His vision for the harvest.
