In 1998, while immersed in the Spirit of God, I received an anointing to write a prophetic song. It was an extraordinary experience since I did not have a clue about music or song writing. While I was in the shower and singing in the Spirit, the melody changed and lyrics began to flow in my mind. I immediately left the shower and found a pen and began writing down the lyrics I was getting.
In a few days, the entire 10-minute song was completed. The first recorded version came when a young man called and wished to order my sculpture titled “The Rapture.” He had a gift of playing and singing Christian music and asked if he could record it. The first full-length version was completed that year. After several years passed, I met a professional music arranger and decided to have the song professionally arranged and recorded.
While working with a professional recording studio — Peter hired two voices (a male and female singer) and 5 gifted musicians and arranged what today is called “We Shall Rise.” This 4:21 minute song carries a message from Heaven for the harvest.
In the first few years of releasing the music, I had a couple Christian radio stations air the song with wonderful responses. “We Shall Rise” is intended to wake and encourage the body of Christ.
